Membership Requirements
Students from high school must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.

OR
Students who have completed at least 12 units at GCC must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Types of Membership
Active Membership
Active Members are required to complete 80 Points during the semester.
Points are earned through AGS meetings, fundraising, social events, & community service events. Active Members may be eligible for up to 20 points received from outside volunteer work.

A fee of $20 must be paid.
Inactive Membership
Inactive Members are NOT required to complete 80 Points during the semester.
Due to this, Inactive Members pay a slightly higher application fee than Active Members.

A fee of $50 must be paid.
What happens if I do not reach the 80-point requirement?
Members not completing their 80 point requirement will lose their membership for the semester if they fail to change their status to inactive by the membership deadline.

A minimum of 60 units (​only six units may be credit/no credit classes)

A minimum of 30 units ​completed at GCC

Been a member of AGS for at least two semesters with a 3.25 GPA.
